Good evening. I’ve just returned from my first meal at the illustrious [Dansen University]. Now I sit in my dorm clad in generic goth-esque photographs stuck to the wall with small adhesive patches, as well as posters from various pieces of media, my favorite of course being my poster of Cabanel’s painting The Fallen Angel. I often stare into Lucifer’s eyes and pretend he’s looking to me. I am also currently listening to my pretentious prince, my favorite author, ARDETTE as I write.

“Who am I? Who am I?!” They scream.

I am of course experiencing a whirlwind of emotions, a tempest of such variety that no one emotion stands chiefly above the rest. I’m sad, of course. Sad to see my loving parents drive away to the place I lived only yesterday. I’m sad to leave my flower, my tender lover, having only Bunny the stuffed animal hare to serve as her simulacrum, who will certainly lose their {Laurelei}-smell before long. I’m scared that me and [Alley] won’t get along great. I cannot tell if she likes me. She left an adorable like card with birdies on it for me to find upon my moving in. This supplied me with some hope and continues to. I’ve yet to engage her in a true conversation; she made just a brief appearance whilst my caretakers helped in making my half of the room my own. The room is fucking awesome, by the way. It’s really cool, I think.

Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear! This is the synopsis of my mindset at the current moment. There are of course the positive feelings; the excitement of being all on my lonesome, the joy of being in a place where people are less likely to look on me with contempt. I’m living in a woman’s hall, for [Sophia]’s sake! Ugh. I’ve got a headache.
